Innovative solutions

BFC Group is a private company set up in 2003 to provide technological and management services, and which structures and guides innovative solutions in biogas production and new applications, as well as greenhouse gas emission reduction projects. Its main offices are set in Gijon (Asturias) although it has a network of working departments in several Latin America countries, through the companies that integrate the group. BFC group activity is always developed within its business areas which are focused on R & D, engineering and exploitation.

Highly qualified professionals are the main force behind our day by day work, which are distributed depending on the activity developed among the three subsidiaries that make up the group: Biogas Fuel Cell, Biogas Solutions and Biogas Investment.

The ongoing company strategy is mainly focused on creating value through knowledge generation for its further development through new options that will allow a sustainable waste management, add value to biogas and, simultaneously, contribute to climate change.

Biogas Fuel Cell SA R&D&i Management System is now certified by AENOR by the UNE norm 166002:2006, for the activities of Research, Development and Innovation in the field of biogas production (anaerobic digestion), cleaning (fhysicochemical and by micro-algae) and conversion into other fuels (hydrogen, bio-methane, bio-methanol) and development and innovation in hydrogen and fuel cells technology.
