Biogas generated or extracted from landfills has an important pollution load that implies the need of establishing a cleaning process which effectiveness depends on the subsequent implementation requirements. BFC works with biological and cryogenic technologies as biogas cleaning systems, using biofilters for biogas desulfurization in the first case, and cryogenic equipment for typical contaminants and CO2 removal in the second one, from where almost pure methane is obtained, which is considered as biomethane.
